About Shilajit

Shilajit is a natural substance found mainly in the Himalayas, formed for centuries by the gradual decomposition of certain plants by the action of microorganisms, and on this basis, Shilajit is considered a millenary product of nature. For over 3000 years, it has been celebrated as a natural remedy and a form of traditional medicine as evident in ancient texts. Organic molecules of shilajit contains Fulvic Acid, Humic Acid, Minerals, and Oligoelements in Ionic form that act as a cellular level.

Shilajit USA directly sources shilajit above 18,000 ft. from the Himalayan range near K2 Mountain… the second highest peak in the world. We only select the best gold grade and discard all other material that is of inferior quality. Identify Fake Shilajit?

We started doing some research on shilajit for our own consumption during winter 2017/18. Based on our tests, we estimate more than 90% of the products in the marketplace to be either fake or counterfeits. It is an unfortunate reality that is difficult to comprehend. Soon after we embarked on this journey of going to its original source i.e. the mighty mountain range of The Himalayas. A year long journey thereafter led to authentic sources and started collaboration with local villagers. Getting the recipe right was another challenge on its own. Most shilajit commercially available is cooked that essentially destroys the beneficial characteristics of the resin and many vendors add fulvic acid to increase the volume and make ridiculous claims of minimum content levels. Shilajit comes from various spots from the mountains and each of them will differ in content as it is an organic compound that cannot be reproduced in the laboratory. Cooking fast tracks the purification process and adding fulvic acid makes the product cheaper as this acid is commercially available at low prices. Authentic shilajit is expensive to source. In comparison, we can’t even directly source/manufacture at the retail prices that many vendors sell on market places. Vendors try to add fillers to increase quantity and keeping low prices. Unfortunately, many fell in this price dilemma and are consuming products that may actually be harmful. Authentic shilajit comes only in a resin form.
